Semaphore, sunset, and sweethearts

Early June – sunset happens quite early, the weather can be unpredictable… but love knows no bounds! On a gorgeous wintery day, I was very lucky to be working with the lovely Bettsy & Ben on their wedding day. Loads of laughs, a few champagnes, relaxing spa, swim and massages for the lads…then we all headed to the Semaphore Palais for the official events to begin. The unpredictable Adelaide weather delivered a simply stunning afternoon, with a picture-perfect sky, and sunset. This all worked together to frame the loved-up newlyweds. Ben, Bettsy, it was an honour to be able to capture all of your day’s magic. Thankyou for having me part of your wedding day 🙂

Special Family Announcement

Finally! I am so happy I can share this now. Recently I was able to do a special photoshoot for a wonderful couple I am blessed to call friends. The lovely Emma & James have been on a long journey to adopting a baby, and I was honoured that they asked me to help capture images to use in their announcement to share with all their loved ones. I had to keep it all under wraps until they’d shared it themselves, and this finally happened so yay, here’s my turn to share it! Emma and James, thanks for entrusting me with this one! I can’t wait to meet your new addition when the time arrives, and then I am excited for more photoshoots from there with you all! It really is a privilege to be asked to photograph families, regardless of how that looks… Thanks for letting me be present for this 🙂

Family Fun in Botanic Park

One lovely Sunday a couple of months back I had the joy of spending the morning with the lovely Jen and Jodie, their beautiful girls, and some of Jen’s extended family. It really is a privilege to be asked to photograph families, and to be in the picturesque Botanic Park just added to the experience. Combining fantastic little bundles of energy with their fave family members, massive tree roots to climb over…and some bubble fun thrown in their for good measure…what fun we all had! Oakland Gray Wright

When you’re a photographer, you can be sure many conversations about maternity and newborn photography sessions are had. So early this year, when this bub’s arrival was imminent, I spent a lovely afternoon with these two amazing, excited mums-to-be. It was a truly wonderful time watching them as they spoke about their son who they couldn’t wait to meet very soon…. … and then the stork came, and brought the very handsome, snuggly, ADORABLE Oakland Gray into the world. Once mums and bubs had finally headed home, we had the absolute honour and privilege to spend a fun few hours together, playing dress-ups with the perfect little man. Nat and Em, thank you for the privilege of photographing your precious little boy, and I can’t wait for his 6-month session, and then let’s plan his first birthday one! x
